Scavino’s 2010 Langhe Bianco (Sauvignon, Chardonnay) is very nicely balanced in this vintage. It shows lovely delineation and steeliness in its white stone fruits and flowers.
Ruby-violet in the glass, this excellent wine greets you with tones of sweet black fruit, cherry, and anise. Medium bodied and dry with solid and consistent fruit throughout and a lively medium-long finish.
Three great tenors are much more effective than a choir. This Barolo is made by blending three important crus cultivated by the azienda agricola Paolo Scavino: Rocche di Castiglione, Fiasco in Castiglione Falletto and the mythical Cannubi of Barolo.
The modern history of the Scavino family starts with this vineyard, within the Fiasco cru.
This classic Barolo is decadent and exotic with wild aromas of ri pe berries and black truffles. Full-bodied with ultra fine tannins and an incredible finish.
This is a soft luscious white wine that perfectly combines the aromatics of Sauvignon and the fruit of Chardonnay with persistent notes of minerality and ending with a refreshing clean finish thanks to the balanced acidity.
